Phillipians 3: 17-21 Two Patterns, Two Destinies !!

Two roads unfold before our feet,
One wide with praise, one narrow, steep.
One calls the flesh to take the throne,
One bows to Christ and Christ alone.

One trusts in power, wealth, and name,
And builds its worth on pride and fame.
It feeds the self, pursues applause,
Yet leaves the heart with hidden flaws.

Its god is appetite and gain,
Its glory dressed in passing shame.
Its eyes are fixed on earth below,
And miss the life God longs to show.

The other path walks by the cross,
It counts the world and self as loss.
It presses on through joy and pain,
To know that Christ is greatest gain.

Its confidence is not in might,
But faith that walks by heaven’s light.
Its home is where the Savior reigns,
Its treasure lies in lasting things.

One road grows empty, dark, and cold,
Though lined with silver, praise, and gold.
The other shines through storm and night,
And ends in glory, joy, and light.

So choose the path, and choose it well,
The one that leads where saints will dwell.
For one life lived with Christ in view
